About this book
The Shrimad Bhagavata Mahapurana is the Purana of twelve skandhas, best known for its account of Krishna's life. This is the complete Hindi set from Gita Press, in two large hardbound volumes with an orange cover showing the child Krishna.
The photos show text pages and some coloured plates. It suits a family that holds Bhagavata readings at home, or a reader who wants the whole text in Hindi on one shelf.
How it is used
The Bhagavata is traditionally read in a seven day recital called a saptah, and many families also read it in parts through the year. Keep the volumes on a clean, firm shelf or in the puja room.
