The sky right now

Where the nine planets are today, as seen from Earth, against the 12 signs and 27 birth stars. Jyotish measures the sky from Earth because it reads how the planets stand as seen by us, not because it claims they circle the Earth.

Sample answer Am I Manglik?
Yes, but it is cancelled.

Mars sits in a house linked with Mangal Dosha, but it is in its own sign, Aries. Classical texts treat this as cancelling the dosha.

CancelledMildMediumStrong
Why we say this

Counted from your rising sign (Virgo): Mars is in the 8th house. This counts.

Counted from your Moon (Taurus): Mars is in the 12th house. This counts.

Counted from Venus (Cancer): Mars is in the 10th house. This does not count.

Rescue rule that applies: Mars in its own sign, Aries or Scorpio.

Sample person: born 15 August 1990, 10:30 am, Mumbai.
