About this book
The Hanuman Chalisa is a forty verse hymn to Hanuman, written by Goswami Tulsidas. This edition gives the Hindi text with a transliteration, an English translation and notes, so a reader can follow the words even without Devanagari.
It was published by Ramakrishna Math in 2024 as a 96 page paperback with black and white illustrations. At 4 x 3 inch and 40 g it is very small. The cover shows Hanuman seated against a bright red background.
How it is used
A small book for reciting or reading the Chalisa. Many devotees read it on Tuesdays and Saturdays, which are traditionally linked with Hanuman. The transliteration helps a beginner say the verses.
