About this piece
Black tourmaline, also called schorl, is a black, glassy mineral that forms in rough, striated columns. These are raw, unpolished pieces sold by weight, 100 g in total, from R.R. Sheikh Gems.
The photo shows a few chunky black pieces beside an identification card. They suit a collector who likes rough minerals, or anyone who wants a stone for a desk or shelf. The seller says the stones are certified.
How it is used
Rough black tourmaline is kept as a mineral specimen on a desk, a shelf or a meditation corner. In crystal practice people also keep it near an entrance. There are no fixed rules for placing it.
