About this piece
A pendulum is a small weight on a chain. In dowsing and pendulum practice it is held still above a chart or a question and watched for its swing; methods vary widely. This one has a clear quartz ball and a pointed tip on a silver coloured metal chain, from the seller 9Dzine.
It weighs about 10 g. The photos show it on its own, hanging outdoors, in a group and resting on a wooden slice. The seller says an authenticity certificate comes with it.
How it is used
Pendulums are held by the end of the chain with the weight hanging free, over a chart, a map or a question. Practices vary by tradition. It can also simply be kept as a decorative crystal.
Looking after it
