About this piece
A round, richly worked brass piece. Rings of petals and beaded bands circle a raised centre that ends in a pointed finial, and the whole piece stands on curled feet. The finish is antique brass, dark in the recesses and golden on the high points.
The seller lists it as lighting, from the A Burnished Sanctuary collection. One photo shows incense sticks standing in it. The page gave no size, and it does not say whether this is a lamp, an incense holder or both.
How it is used
In the photos it holds a bunch of incense sticks upright. Check the seller's page for whether it is also meant to hold a lamp or a candle. Pieces like this are placed on an altar shelf or a side table.
Looking after it
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth.
- Brush ash out of the carving with a dry soft brush.
