About this piece
The photos show two standing figures, each with four arms and a tall crown, side by side on a single rectangular base. The brass is gold-coloured with darker recesses, and the figures are moulded rather than carved. A close-up shows the face and raised hands of one of them.
The seller calls it a Laxmi idol from the Divya collection and says it stands on its own. The page does not name the second figure and gives no size or weight.
How it is used
Lakshmi is worshipped at Diwali in many homes, and her image is placed on the puja shelf or altar. A self-standing idol like this needs no stand.
Looking after it
- Dust with a soft dry cloth.
- Use a soft brush for the moulded detail.
