About this piece
Palo santo is a wood from South America. It comes from a Latin American tradition, not an Indian puja practice, and is burned for its warm, woody scent with a hint of citrus.
This pack holds 100 g of palo santo sticks, each about 4 inches long, from Bursera graveolens trees in Peru. The seller says the wood is collected only from naturally fallen branches and carries the SERFOR harvest certification. The photos show the sticks beside a cloth bag. It is.
How it is used
The seller says to light one end, let it burn briefly, then blow out the flame and let the smoke rise. Rest the stick in a heat-proof dish. The seller says one stick can be reused several times.
