About this piece
Kumkumadi Tailam is a classical Ayurvedic oil named after kumkuma, saffron. This is Maharishi Ayurveda's 10 ml version with a glass dropper, shown with its brown box and a dish of saffron.
The seller says it follows the Bhaishajya Ratnavali, that it has 26 ingredients including saffron, red sandalwood and goat milk, and that it is made on a sesame oil base. The pack is small, with a sandalwood scent.
How it is used
The seller says to wash the face first, then take 3 to 4 drops on the palm and massage gently in circular motions until absorbed. If used in the morning, it says to wait 15 to 20 minutes before going out and to use sunscreen.
