About this service

This is a booked ritual, not a physical product. The seller says priests chant the names of Budha (Mercury) with flowers at the Swetharanyeswarar Temple in Thiruvenkadu, near Sirkazhi in Mayiladuthurai district, Tamil Nadu.

Thiruvenkadu is one of nine Navagraha temples in the Kaveri delta, each linked with one graha. The sankalp can carry up to four names, the gotra and optional birth stars. The photo is an illustration of an archana offering.

How it is used

The priest says your name, gotra and birth star in the sankalp, then recites Budha's names and mantras while flowers are offered. Wednesday is the weekday traditionally linked with Budha. Once you book, the date is agreed with the seller over WhatsApp.
