About this piece
Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot is a recoloured version of the classic 78 card deck, with Pamela Colman Smith's artwork brightened by Virginijus Poshkus. The publisher, U.S. Games Systems, says the thick black outlines are replaced with subtle shading.
The card backs show a deep blue star filled sky. An instruction booklet with an introduction by Stuart R. Kaplan is included. It suits someone who likes the Rider-Waite scenes but wants a softer, more colourful look.
How it is used
A tarot deck is shuffled, cut and laid in spreads by a reader. As the card scenes keep the traditional symbols, books for the Rider-Waite system usually apply.
