About this piece
A copper yantra for Mangal, which is Mars in Vedic astrology, from the ARKAM line by Parashara Vedic Solutions of Jaipur. The photos show a copper plate engraved with a large triangle divided into small cells, round motifs at the sides and Sanskrit text along the base. It is shown in its box, held in a hand and on a puja table.
The seller lists it as a thick copper sheet, 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm), 170 g. It comes with a puja booklet, an asana and puja samagri.
How it is used
A Mangal yantra is traditionally kept on a puja altar and used in worship on Tuesdays, the day linked with Mars. The included booklet explains the seller's puja steps. Practices differ by family and lineage.
