About this piece
This is a hand-crafted comb made of neem wood, the wood of the Indian neem tree. The listing calls it a single-teeth comb, and the photos show a short flat comb with one row of fine teeth.
It arrives in a brown kraft paper sleeve printed with the logo and the words Neem Comb. The seller presents it as an alternative to a plastic comb. Colour and grain differ from piece to piece, as with any natural wood.
How it is used
Used as an ordinary hair comb on dry hair. The seller's care note says to avoid soaking it or washing it with detergent, and to wipe it with a soft cloth.
Looking after it
- Do not wash with detergent or dishwashing liquid, and do not soak it.
- The seller suggests rubbing in a few drops of flaxseed or linseed oil, leaving it for half an hour, then wiping it with a soft cloth.
