About this piece
Kesh Jyoti is a herbal hair wash powder. It is a dry powder meant to be mixed with water and used in place of a liquid shampoo, in the way hair was traditionally washed in India.
The seller says it is a Siddha formulation with shikakai and three other herbs: poduthalai, karisalankanni and ponnangkanni. The photos show a brown powder heaped on a wooden slice beside a dark jar with a peach label.
How it is used
Herbal hair wash powders are usually mixed with water into a paste, worked through wet hair and rinsed out. Check the label on the jar for the seller's own directions and amounts.
Looking after it
