About this piece
Ojasvini is a herbal bath powder. Snanam means bath in Sanskrit and Tamil, and a powder like this is used in place of soap, mixed with water.
The seller lists kasturi manjal, vetiver, neem, turmeric, tulasi, amla and green gram, along with a few other roots and herbs, and calls it a Siddha formulation. The photos show a yellow powder in a dark jar with a peach label, and heaped on a wooden slice.
How it is used
Herbal bath powders are usually mixed with a little water into a paste, rubbed over wet skin and rinsed off. Check the label on the jar for the seller's own directions.
