About this service

Mrityunjaya, the conqueror of death, is a name of Shiva. In this homam offerings are given into the fire while the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra is chanted. The seller says a South Indian pandit who follows your family's custom kindles the fire and chants for you.

The sankalp names you and your gotra, and up to four loved ones can be named. You see the homam later in photos or video on WhatsApp. The seller calls it a traditional prayer offered in faith.

How it is used

The seller names Mondays, Maha Shivaratri and the months of Shravan and Karthika as traditional times for this homam, and also the birth star of the person it is offered for. After you book, the date and muhurtham are agreed in a WhatsApp message.
