About this piece
A 4 mukhi rudraksha has four natural faces. This is a single bead from Nepal, which the seller says is available loose or attached to an adjustable string. Its size guide puts Nepal beads between 14 mm and 40 mm, with an average of 20 mm.
The seller names Om Hreem Namah as the beej mantra. The photos show a round, textured bead from three sides and a heap of beads.
How it is used
Rudraksha beads are traditionally worn or used for japa, repeating a mantra. This one can be bought loose for stringing or kept as it is. The Shiva Purana (Vidyeshvara Samhita 25, verse 68) calls the four-faced bead Brahma himself. Astrologers today pair this bead with Mercury (Budh); the pairing is a later convention, not a statement of the Purana, and it is the one this site uses in its rudraksha guide and free kundali.
