About this piece

A bracelet made of selected 4 mukhi rudraksha beads from Nepal, paired with polished red sandalwood beads and strung on a sturdy thread. A sliding knot lets you adjust it to the wrist.

The seller lists Om Hreem Namah and Om Namah Shivaya as mantras. The photos show the bracelet flat, on cloth, on a small wooden stand and held in a hand.

How it is used

Rudraksha bracelets are traditionally worn on the wrist and are also used to keep count while chanting. The Shiva Purana (Vidyeshvara Samhita 25, verse 68) calls the four-faced bead Brahma himself. Astrologers today pair this bead with Mercury (Budh); the pairing is a later convention, not a statement of the Purana, and it is the one this site uses in its rudraksha guide and free kundali.

Looking after it

  • Keep it away from water, soap and perfume.
  • Store it in a dry pouch when not worn.
