About this piece
A square brass yantra for Chandra, the Moon, one of the nine grahas of Vedic astrology. The plate carries a three by three grid of numerals inside a circle, with a mantra line across the top and text along the bottom.
It measures 9 cm each side. The listing gives no weight. The photo is small, so the surface detail is hard to judge.
How it is used
A graha yantra is traditionally kept in the puja room or on the shrine, often with the planet's mantra recited before it. Practices differ by family and teacher.
