About this piece
A pocket sized copper Ketu yantra. Ketu is one of the two lunar nodes in Vedic astrology, often called a shadow planet. The photos show a copper plate engraved with a standing figure on the left, a grid of nine numbered squares on the right and lines of Sanskrit below.
The seller lists it as 5 cm wide and 5 cm tall, 50 g, with a polished finish. It is one plate.
How it is used
A Ketu yantra is traditionally kept on a puja altar or in a clean place at home. Many people choose a planetary yantra after speaking to an astrologer. Practices differ by family and tradition.
Looking after it
- Dust with a soft dry cloth.
- Copper darkens with time; this is normal.
