About this piece
A small copper Shani Dev yantra. Shani is Saturn in Vedic astrology. The photos show a copper plate engraved with a figure of Shani on his mount at the left, a grid of nine numbered squares at the right and lines of Sanskrit below.
The seller lists it as 5 cm wide and 5 cm tall, 50 g. It is one plate, and the page advises light dusting for care.
How it is used
A Shani yantra is traditionally kept on a puja altar and used in worship on Saturdays, the day linked with the planet. The seller suggests placing it in the west or southwest. Practices differ by family and lineage.
