About this piece
This set is one place setting in brass. The plate is plain golden with a low rim, and the bowls and glass show a silver-coloured tin lining inside.
The plate is 27.3 cm (10.75 in) across and weighs 0.67 kg. The bowls are 4 in across and 2 in high. The seller says the tin lining is there for curd, buttermilk and sour foods. A 2 set option is also on the page. It suits one person, or a gift for someone setting up a kitchen.
How it is used
A thaali is the large plate for a full meal, with bowls placed on it for dal, vegetables and curd. One set serves one diner.
