About this piece
A compact Ganpati Bappa idol in resin, hand painted in a matte saffron finish with gold detailing. It sits on a black pedestal inscribed in Devanagari with the words Shri Ganeshay Namah. The photos show him seated, with a rounded body and gold crown.
The seller says it is compact enough for a car dashboard and detailed enough for a home altar. It is resin, not brass or metal, and light in weight.
How it is used
Ganesha is traditionally invoked at the start of new ventures. The seller lists the idol for pooja, gifting and daily use, and says its size suits a home altar, a shelf or a car dashboard.
Looking after it
