About this service

Pitru dosh, in astrology, is the belief that ancestors are not at peace, often because their rites were left incomplete. This puja, also called Pitru Shanti, is performed by a local priest at a ritual venue in Naimisharanya, an ancient tirtha also called Neemsar in Sitapur district, Uttar Pradesh.

The seller says up to five family names go into the sankalp. It may include tarpan, pind daan, jaap or havan, and the rites included are confirmed with you on WhatsApp.

How it is used

The seller names Pitru Paksha as the main season, with Amavasya and above all Mahalaya Amavasya also chosen, and an ancestor's death anniversary (tithi) as another traditional day. The date and the rites are settled with you on WhatsApp.
