About this piece
A bracelet of 3 mukhi rudraksha beads from Nepal, strung on an elastic cord so it slips on over the hand. The seller lists the bead size at 15 to 19 mm, so these are large, chunky beads.
The seller names Om Kleem Namah as the beej mantra. The photos show the bracelet flat, on a small wooden stand and held in a hand, with a plain bead among the rudraksha.
How it is used
Rudraksha bracelets are traditionally worn on the wrist and are also used to keep count while chanting. The Shiva Purana (Vidyeshvara Samhita 25, verse 67) names no deity for the three-faced bead; the Devi Bhagavata likens it to Agni, the fire. Astrologers today pair this bead with Mars (Mangal); the pairing is a later convention, not a statement of the Purana, and it is the one this site uses in its rudraksha guide and free kundali.
Looking after it
