About this piece
A masala daani, the round spice box used in many Indian kitchens, in brass. It holds seven small bowls, each of about 50 g, with two lids and a brass spoon in the set.
The outside is hammered and golden and the inside is plain golden. It measures about 23 x 23 x 7 cm and weighs 1.4 kg. The photos show it closed, open with spices and on a table with other brass pieces. It suits a kitchen where you want spices together in one tin.
How it is used
