About this piece
An iron urli by August Collectives, from the Lavish Settings collection. The photos show a low, wide bowl that is teal blue inside, with a gold coloured outside and rim.
A dimension drawing in the photos reads 32 cm across and 6.5 cm high. Other photos show it filled with water, petals and floating lamps, with a small deity figure behind it.
How it is used
Many homes fill an urli with water and floating flowers or a floating lamp and keep it near the entrance or in the living room, especially at festivals.
Looking after it
- Empty and dry it after use, since iron can rust if left wet.
