About this piece
A square brass yantra for Guru, Jupiter, one of the nine grahas of Vedic astrology. A three by three grid of numerals sits in a yellow panel in the centre, with a mantra line above and text below.
It measures 8.5 cm each side. The listing gives no weight. The photo is small, so check the listing for finish.
How it is used
A graha yantra is traditionally kept in the puja room or on the shrine, often with the planet's mantra recited before it. Practices differ by family and teacher.
