About this piece
A bracelet of 5 mukhi rudraksha beads from Nepal, paired with smooth natural sandalwood beads and strung on a red adjustable cord. The seller describes it as suitable for daily wear and meditation.
The photos show the bracelet flat with its red cord, on cloth from the side, and held in a hand.
How it is used
Rudraksha bracelets are traditionally worn on the wrist and are also used to keep count while chanting. The Shiva Purana (Vidyeshvara Samhita 25, verses 69 to 70) calls the five-faced bead Rudra himself, named Kalagni. Astrologers today pair this bead with Jupiter (Guru); the pairing is a later convention, not a statement of the Purana, and it is the one this site uses in its rudraksha guide and free kundali.
Looking after it
- Keep it away from water, soap and perfume.
- Store it in a dry pouch when not worn.
