Mercury-Mars is the sixth antardasha of the Mercury Mahadasha, lasting about 11 months and 27 days, or nearly a year. It follows the feeling-led Mercury-Moon period and is typically busier, more competitive and less patient. Energy rises, and so does the appetite for doing rather than deliberating.

People search for it when they notice arguments, a burst of ambition, a technical project, property or legal matters, or a physical change in pace. It is a lively period, and like any lively period it rewards those who aim it.
