A lord of an angle in a trine is an old and welcome link in Jyotish: kendra and trikona are the two supports of a chart. It is not automatically a Raja Yoga, which needs a kendra lord and a trikona lord to connect through conjunction, aspect or exchange, but it gives the ingredients, and it becomes markedly stronger for ascendants where one planet rules both houses.
