About this piece
Krishna stands with his flute raised, in the tribhanga pose with the body bent in three places, and Radha stands close beside him. Both are moulded in brass with a gold-coloured finish and stand together on one rectangular base. The photos show them against a warm orange backdrop with flower petals.
The seller says it stands on its own. It is, and the page gave no size or weight.
How it is used
Radha and Krishna are worshipped together in many homes and are remembered on Janmashtami, the festival marking Krishna's birth. A pair like this is placed on the puja shelf.
Looking after it
- Dust with a soft dry cloth.
- Use a soft brush for the moulded detail.
