About this piece
Hanuman sits cross-legged on a round base with his palms joined. A thin ring rises behind his head like a halo, and the brass has a deep gold-brown finish with detailed carving on the base. The photos show him on a pale grey ground with blue cloth and marigolds.
The size graphic reads about 7.7 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It is, and the page gave no weight.
How it is used
Hanuman is shown with joined palms as the devoted follower of Rama, and in graha remedy practice he is often linked with Mars and Saturn. An idol like this is kept on a puja shelf or a table.
Looking after it
- Dust with a soft dry cloth.
- Polish occasionally with a brass cleaner.
