About this piece
A table-top Shivling in hand carved brass. The lingam rises from a round base with a pouring spout on one side, and a serpent with five spread hoods arches over the top. The finish is a warm gold with darker detail.
It is. One photo shows the soft drawstring pouch it comes in. The page gave no size or weight.
How it is used
A Shivling is a symbol of Shiva, and it is worshipped in homes with water, flowers and leaves. A small brass piece like this is placed on a puja shelf or a tray, and the spout lets water run off.
Looking after it
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth after any water or milk.
- Dry the spout well.
