About this piece
Nirmalaya Rooh Rose dhoop sticks, 40 in a pink tube, with a ceramic stand. They are bambooless, so they are plain brown dhoop sticks without a bamboo core. Nirmalaya says it makes the sticks from flowers collected at places of worship and recycled.
The seller says each stick burns for about 25 minutes. The pack weighs 250 g and the tube is about 7.6 cm across, so it is easy to store.
How it is used
Dhoop sticks are lit at the end of a puja, during meditation, or to scent a room, and set upright in the stand so the ash falls into the dish.
