About this piece
A small round brass plate with a textured surface and a detailed lotus flower on one side. The photo shows two of the plates in a gold finish, one with the lotus resting on the edge, set among small pink flowers.
It is 11 cm across, 5 cm high including the lotus and weighs 380 g. The seller suggests using it as a table centrepiece with tea lights, or in a puja room to hold kumkum, turmeric or a lamp.
How it is used
The seller suggests it as a table centrepiece with tea lights, or in a puja room to hold kumkum, turmeric and a deepam. The lotus is a traditional symbol of purity in Indian art.
