About this piece
A brass set of lidded containers for kumkum, turmeric and other puja powders. The photo shows round lidded bowls with red kumkum and yellow turmeric on a small leaf-shaped tray, in an aged gold finish.
The seller says each container has a lid and suggests it for chawal, chandan, roli, vibhuti, kumkum and turmeric. The tray is 12.7 cm square and 3.8 cm high, and the whole set weighs 170 g.
How it is used
In puja, kumkum and turmeric are offered or applied at the altar, and many homes keep them in small covered bowls. The seller lists chawal, chandan, roli and vibhuti as other items it can hold.

- Wipe with a soft dry cloth.
- Keep the bowls dry inside before filling.
