About this piece
This kit holds the items the seller lists for one elaborate Navagraha puja and havan. It includes coloured altar cloths, a brass kalash with a coconut, a Navagraha devata yantra of 4.25 inches, nine kinds of grain and seed offerings, and a set of diyas.
The havan items are a bundle of samidha sticks, mango sticks, havan samagri, a packet of Navagraha sticks, camphor slabs and cow dung cakes. It suits a household that wants to hold a Navagraha puja at home and would like the materials together.
How it is used
The nine planets of Vedic astrology are worshipped together in a Navagraha puja, with a coloured cloth and offerings for each. The havan is a fire ritual in which samidha sticks and samagri are offered with mantras. The kit lists the usual materials so they do not have to be gathered one by one.
