About this piece
A brass Lakshmi idol from the Deshna collection. The photos show the goddess seated with a tall arched halo behind her, with fine carved detail on the crown, the arch and the pedestal base.
The finish is a warm gold throughout. The back of the arch is open and shows an inner pattern, and the base has two screw holes underneath. The seller calls it handcrafted brass. It suits a home shrine where Lakshmi is worshipped.
How it is used
Many homes keep a Lakshmi image at the shrine and worship her on Fridays and at Diwali. The seller gives no instructions, so follow your family's practice for placing and caring for the idol.

- Dust with a soft dry cloth.
- Avoid acid cleaners, which can mark brass.
