About this piece
A small desktop yantra for Surya (Sun). A thick dark wooden frame holds the yantra behind crystal glass that magnifies it, on a short round base. One face shows the number grid of the Surya (Sun) yantra on an orange ground. The other face shows a deity figure.
In Vedic astrology Surya, the Sun, is the planet linked with the soul, authority and the father. The seller lists it for a table, an office desk, a car or a puja altar.
How it is used
The seller describes setting the yantra up on a Sunday at sunrise, facing east, with sandalwood paste and red flowers and the Surya mantra. It can also stand on a table or in an office.
