About this piece
A small locket in antique-finish copper. One face carries the Surya yantra, a grid of numbers with a title above. The other face carries a deity figure. It hangs on an adjustable thread.
In Vedic astrology Surya, the Sun, is the planet linked with the soul, authority and the father. The seller sells it as a yantra for worship, to be worn on the neck.
How it is used
Many people wear a yantra locket on the neck, or keep it on the altar and chant the matching graha mantra at their usual puja. The seller lists a mantra for it on the page.
Looking after it
- Wipe with a dry soft cloth.
- Take it off before bathing, as water darkens copper.
