The Ketu Mahadasha Rahu Antardasha is the sixth sub-period of the seven-year Ketu period, lasting about 1 year and 18 days. It follows the short Ketu-Mars phase and leads into Ketu-Jupiter. People look it up because it pairs the two shadow points that astrologers treat with the most care, and they want to know what that might mean for them.

Rahu and Ketu are the two ends of the same axis, the points where the Moon’s path crosses the Sun’s.
