The Ketu Mahadasha Sun Antardasha is the third sub-period of the seven-year Ketu period and the shortest of the nine, lasting about 4 months and 6 days. It comes after Ketu-Venus and before Ketu-Moon. People look it up because it is brief and tends to feel different from the long, gentle Venus period before it.

The Sun signifies the self, vitality, authority, the father, government and status. Ketu signifies release of ego and worldly pride. Together they raise a simple question: who are you when the titles are set aside?
