About this piece
A brass statue of Lord Hanuman standing upright with one hand raised in a blessing gesture and a mace resting at his side. The photos show a crown, necklaces and a draped cloth worked in fine detail, in a polished gold-toned finish.
It is 23 cm (9 inch) tall and weighs 1 kg, which suits a shelf, a small altar or a desk. The back is carved too, so it can be seen from all sides.
How it is used
Many devotees keep a Hanuman image on the family altar or in a small shrine and offer a lamp, flowers or sindoor before it. A standing figure of this size also works on a shelf in a prayer corner.
