About this piece
A golden brass Dhanvantari idol from the Arupa collection, listed as a table-top piece. In the photos the figure stands on a square base with four arms, wearing a crown and ornaments, with fine carved detail on the face and clothing and a round disc behind.
Dhanvantari is the physician of the gods and the deity of Ayurveda in Hindu tradition. This is a devotional and decor piece. The seller page names only the material, brass, and gives no size or weight.
How it is used
Dhanvantari is honoured in Ayurvedic practice and in many homes, and Dhanteras, in the days before Diwali, is the occasion most linked with him. This is an image for a shelf or altar, not a medical item.
