About this piece
A small bronze statue of Dhanvantari, the physician of the gods in Hindu tradition and the figure Ayurveda names as its source. He stands on a low round base with four arms, and the photos show a warm copper brown colour.
The statue is 9 cm (3.5 in) tall, slim, and weighs only 70 g. It suits a small shelf or a corner of a home altar. The seller's listing calls it 3 inch.
How it is used
Dhanvantari is remembered on Dhanteras, and many Ayurveda practitioners and families keep his image on a small altar or a clinic shelf.
