How it is used
Many homes keep a Shiva lingam on a clean altar and offer water, bilva leaves and flowers. The spout carries the water away, so many people set the piece on a tray or plate.
Looking after it
- Dust with a soft dry cloth.
- Keep away from oil, turmeric and kumkum, which stain white marble.
- Wipe water off at once and dry.
