About this piece
These incense sticks are named after rudraksha, the seed that Shiva worshippers use for malas. The seller says the sticks are hand-crafted from natural herbs and aromatics and are free of harsh synthetic chemicals.
Each pack holds 30 sticks, and the seller gives a burn time of about one hour per stick. The photos show the brown sticks with rudraksha beads around the pack, and a single stick in a small wooden holder. They are made for Shiva puja at home.
How it is used
The seller suggests these for Shiva puja and meditation, and lists Monday as the day, a day many homes give to Shiva. Light the stick at the start of puja in a holder that catches ash, on a heat-proof surface clear of cloth and paper.
