For 24 days at the start of the year Jupiter stays in Simha, your tenth house, the house of career and standing. At 1:31 am IST on 25 January it slips into Karka, retrograde. Karka is Jupiter’s sign of exaltation, and for you it is the ninth house, so a strong planet sits in the house of dharma, higher learning, mentors, father figures and journeys.
