About this piece
Chyawanprash is a traditional Ayurvedic preparation made with amla and a long list of herbs, usually eaten by the spoonful. This is the sugarfree version from Dabur, in a 900 g jar with an orange lid and a family on the front.
The seller says it is made from more than 40 herbs, including amla, ashwagandha and giloy. The jar label gives the full ingredient list and how to take it, so read it on the pack.
How it is used
Chyawanprash is usually taken by the spoonful, often with warm milk or water. Follow the label for the amount and timing.
